Room Hire

Our facilities are suitable for large or small meetings, adult education classes, seminars, community groups and one to one meetings.

Audio-visual aids can be made available in any of our rooms and a piano is available in the Meeting Room. Facilities are available for groups to make their own tea and coffee in the Common Room. In addition we have an on-site Community Cafe.

Rates

In general there is a minimum hire period of 3 hours. Fractions of an hour are charged as one hour.

Meeting House with Common Room: £9.00 per hour
Common Room only, Library or Cafe room: £6.00 per hour

Please note that hire of cafe space does not include use of the kitchen

Access

All rooms have wheel-chair access. Town Centre car parks are nearby and we are a 3 minute walk from the Bus Station and a 15 minute walk from the Rail Station (taxi stand).

Meeting House

Equipped for blended video conferencing

Suitable for up to 50 people

A variety of room formats are possible.

Common Room

Suitable for up to 25 people

For meetings and social events.

Children’s Room

Suitable for up to 8 people.

Good for small groups and one to one meetings.

Café

Suitable for up to 25 people.

Small groups of tables and chairs are available but may be removed on request. A pleasant Garden area is available for use in good weather and the cafe can provide groups with meals and/or refreshments to order, by prior arrangement.
